A Pizza Hut Restaurant employee was taking a co-worker home to the co-worker’s residence on Hummingbird Lane, Lakeland, after work on Monday, April 5, 2010.  At approximately 1:40 am, the victim who lived in the residence was attempting to go inside while his co-worker stood in the yard.  Two unknown males approached, stopped in the roadway and asked for a light for a cigarette.  The victims complied and the suspects continued to walk north along Hummingbird.

The victims stated minutes later the same two suspects returned and walked into the yard, offering to sell the victims drugs.  When the victims told the suspects they had no cash, the first suspect displayed a firearm and ordered the second suspect to search the victims.  The second suspect went to each victim and removed wallets and money.

After taking the victim’s property, the suspects fled over a four-foot fence in the front yard and ran south on Hummingbird Lane where the victims then heard two car doors shut and a vehicle drive off.   One of the victims observed a white, four-door Chevrolet car with tinted windows travel toward Combee Road.

The first suspect is described as a black male who was approximately 5'7-5'10” tall, with a thin build.  He was wearing a white shirt and unknown color shorts.  His hair was cut short, and he appeared to be 16-20 years of age.

The second suspect is described as a while male who was approximately 5'10-6' tall, with a thin build.  He was wearing a dark shirt and unknown color shorts.  His hair was short and curly, and he had bad teeth.  He appeared to be in his early 20s.
