Polk County Sheriff's Robbery detectives are seeking information on the whereabouts of Jamar Williams, DOB 12/27/89, whose last known address is 1250 Mitchell Avenue in Lakeland. Jamar has a warrant for his arrest for Robbery.
Around 10:30 p.m. on March 21, 2010, Jamar and another man, identified as Bryan Hatton, went to a residence on Woodstock Avenue to hang out with some friends. Shortly thereafter, they left, taking with them a woman from the residence. While Hatton drove, Jamar asked the woman, who was sitting in the backseat, to get him something from the back window area of the car. When the woman turned around to retrieve it, she was struck on the back of the head and blacked out. When the woman regained consciousness, she was laying on the side of the road on Woodstock Avenue and had no cash left in her pockets.
Detectives were able to identify both suspects in this case, and Bryan Hatton was arrested on April 7, 2010, and charged with Robbery. Detectives are still looking for Jamar Williams.
Jamar is described as a black male, 5’8” tall, 180 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. Jamar’s 2008 mug shot can be seen here.
