The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in an Armed Robbery.

At approximately 8:30 am, on Monday, May 03, 2010, a female who was at the Hurricane Bay Car Wash located at 911 Combee Road, Lakeland, was confronted by an armed suspect demanding money.  The victim complied. 

The suspect then forced the victim inside her 2003, black, Yukon, and demanded she go to her bank and with draw more money.  The victim again complied and drove to the Mid-Florida Bank located at Highway 98 and Crystal Lake Drive. 

The suspect then forced the victim to drive to the area of Crystal Woods Apartments, where he exited the vehicle and the victim fled.

This suspect struck the victim during the incident.

The suspect, described as a black male approximately 5’10” with a medium build, short hair, and with a dark completion.  He was wearing white T-shirt, and black baggy jean shorts.
