GRAND THEFT SUSPECT SOUGHT  Sought 
Polk County Sheriff’s deputies are seeking the public’s help in identifying a grand theft suspect. The theft took place on June 2, 2010, at the Kangaroo Store located at 3044 SR 60 East in Lake Wales. 

At approximately 7:00 P.M. that day, an unknown white male suspect wearing a red plaid shirt and white shorts was seen on video surveillance taking four VISA $100.00 pre-paid cards.  The suspect then went to the Publix grocery store also located on SR 60 East in Lake Wales and attempted to convert those stolen cards to American Express gift cards, however, the transaction was denied at the register.  He then went to the Publix grocery store located at 24170 US 27 in Lake Wales, where he purchased various gift cards using the stolen VISA cards.
