INFORMATION SOUGHT IN ATTEMPTED A/C UNIT THEFT  Sought 

Polk County Sheriff's deputies are seeking the public's help in identify the suspects responsible for attempting to steal an air-conditioning unit from a residence in north Lakeland.

Around 7:20 p.m. on Monday, September, 20, 2010, three unknown white male suspects were seen trespassing at the victim's rental home located on Mt. Tabor Road in north Lakeland. The victim told the men to leave. As soon as the suspects left, the victim noticed the lines and wires to the air-conditioning unit had been cut, as if the suspects had been attempting to steal it.

The suspects were seen driving a white 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac truck with FL tag X72 VXH. A photo of the truck can be seen here.
