INFORMATION SOUGHT IN RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY   

Polk County Sheriff’s deputies are seeking the public’s help in solving a residential burglary that occurred in Winter Haven.

On December 24, 2010, during the early evening hours, a residential burglary occurred in the Cypresswood Community located off of Dundee Road in Winter Haven.  Over $7,000 worth of jewelry, such as rings, bracelets, earrings, and necklaces, was taken from the residence. Two noteworthy items taken include a 1932 Indianhead $10.00 coin attached to a 14-karat gold necklace, and a 14-karat gold “Cleopatra” style necklace. Photos of these two items can be seen below.
