Polk County Sheriff’s deputies are seeking the public’s help in an Armed Robbery investigation.

On July 9, 2010, at approximately 9:00 p.m., the victim attempted to deliver pizza’s to 609 William Ave, Winter Haven, FL 33880.

Suspect 1 was in the residence and greeted the victim at the door.

Suspect 2, armed with a hand gun, emerged from the carport area behind the victim and demanded the victim put the pizzas down and enter the residence. The victim refused and suspect 2, pistol whipped him. The victim suffered a minor injury.

The victim ran South on William Ave and East on Glad road and the 2 suspects chased him a short distance then stopped.

The 2 suspects fled the area in the victims vehicle, a 1995 Dodge Neon Blue 2dr, which was later located by Winter Haven Police Department at SR 17 at CR 544.

The suspects are armed and dangerous.

The suspects are described as:

(1)  An Unknown Blk male, 6’0 thin build, 15-19 yoa, wearing dark colored shorts and SS dark shirt.

(2) An Unknown Blk male, 5’9, 190-200lbs, 15-19 yoa, wearing dark colored shorts and SS dark shirt, dark bandana. Armed with a handgun

 Investigation is ongoing.
