INFORMATION SOUGHT IN HIT AND RUN TRAFFIC CRASH  Sought 

Polk County Sheriff’s Office Traffic deputies are asking for the public’s help in a Hit and Run with Serious Injury.

At approximately 6:55 am on Thursday, October 14, 2010, a traffic crash occurred at the intersection of County Line Road and Highway 92 in Lakeland.

The driver of a 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling northbound on County Line Road when a red, semi-truck pulling a silver trailer turned left in front of him.  The cyclist struck the tires on the trailer.

The driver of the semi didn’t stop.  The cyclist was transported to Lakeland Regional Medical Center where he remains in stable condition.
