INFORMATION SOUGHT IN HIT AND RUN TRAFFIC HOMICIDE  Sought 
 Polk County Sheriff's Office Traffic deputies are asking for the public's help in a Hit and Run Traffic Homicide investigation.

At approximately 8:24 am today, Wednesday, October 20, 2010, several calls were received regarding a body on Hinson Avenue, Haines City.  Haines City Police Officers initially responded, then requested the PCSO's Traffic Homicide investigators' assistance.

Through their investigation, PCSO Traffic deputies have learned that 31-year old Jacquelin Adele Sleght, DOB 1/12/1979, 703 Lake Dexter Drive, Winter Haven, was walking west on Hinson Avenue after leaving a residence on Brin Road where she is employed as a home healthcare provider when she was struck by a 2001-2005 light colored Ford Ranger, or Mazda B2300 pickup truck.

The vehicle sustained damage to the passenger side headlight, turn signal and side mirror, and was last seen traveling west on Hinson Avenue
