The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is assisting the Haines City Police Department in a Robbery Homicide investigation which occurred inside the city limits of Haines City and detectives are asking for the public’s help.
At approximately 9:17 am, Friday, October 07, 2011, two black males entered the Video Latino, 1719 Hinson Avenue, Haines City, brandishing a handgun. The clerk, 20-year-old Jaime Magana, Jr., was shot and killed.
Video surveillance captured the images of both suspects as they struggled with the victim and removed cash from the register.
One male, taller than the second, wore a white t-shirt with lettering on the front. He also wore a Florida Marlin’s cap, sunglasses, and blue jeans.
The second black male wore a long sleeve, dark colored hoodie style shirt, jeans and a camouflage style cap with text.
