Polk County Sheriff’s Robbery detectives are seeking information about a business robbery that occurred on December 24, 2011, in Davenport.
Around 9:20 p.m. on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2011, two suspects entered the Hollywood Liquor store located at 114 Polo Park Blvd in Davenport. The first suspect held the door open while the second suspect went behind the counter and pointed a handgun at the clerk, demanding money from the register.
The robbery was interrupted by another store clerk who tapped the armed suspect on the shoulder and told him to get from behind the counter. The armed suspect and the second clerk struggled briefly, and then both suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction.
The suspects are described as: a male in his late teens, unknown race, approximately 5’10,” with a thin build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white letters on the front and sleeves, hat, armed with a small black semi-automatic handgun; and a male in his late teens, unknown race, approximately 5’10,” with a thin build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a red and blue had. Both suspects can be seen here in video surveillance photos.
