Polk County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in three separate Retail Theft investigations which occurred at the Circle K convenience store located at 2425 West Memorial Boulevard, Lakeland.
At approximately 7:38 am, on Friday, December 15, 2011, an unidentified black male wearing a black hat, black jacket, and black pants entered store and was captured on video surveillance footage approaching the service counter and asking for a carton of cigarettes and a pack of cigars. The store clerk then placed items on the service counter. The black male then grabbed the cigarettes and cigars and exited the business without paying for the items. The black male suspect fled the area on foot from the store.
At approximately 12:22 am, on Wednesday, January 4, 2012, an unidentified black male wearing a black pants, white long sleeve shirt, and Florida State University hat entered the store and was captured on video surveillance footage entering the cooler at the rear of the store. The black male then removed two  bottles of wine and concealed them inside his pants. The black male approached the front of the store and exited without paying for the concealed items. The black male left the area in an unknown direction.
Later on the same day, Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at approximately 4:05 pm, an unidentified white male wearing a red sweatshirt, green shorts, and black sandals entered the store and while inside the store the white male was captured on video surveillance footage removing Hostess snack cakes from a display and concealing the items inside the red sweatshirt. The white male then walked past the service counter and exited the store with paying for the items. The white male left the area in an unknown direction.
