Polk County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help in a Retail Theft investigation.

At approximately 7:00 p.m., on Sunday, February 4, 2012, at the Papa John’s pizza restaurant located at 6747 U.S. Highway 98 N, Lakeland, the restaurant’s pizza costume was stolen.

A white male, approximately 18-years-of-age, wearing a white button up shirt, dark pants and a dark tie, entered the store with six other people.  The young male suspect put on the costume then left the store wearing the costume.  The costume is described as a slice of pizza approximately 6 feet tall.

Two other persons of interest were described as a white male with dark hair wearing a white shirt, and dark pants; and an Asian female wearing black leggings and a light colored jacket.
