INFORMATION SOUGHT IN HOME INVASION  Sought 

At approximately 7:04 pm, on Tuesday, December 25, 2012, Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a residence on Imperial Drive, in Mulberry in reference to a reported Home Invasion in progress. 

The victim told deputies he had just returned home from Christmas dinner and shopping and was on his screened in porch on the east side of his residence when his phone rang.  As he walked toward the door of his home, he noticed a male subject entering the doorway of his screened porch.  The subject, described as being a tall thin Hispanic or dark-skinned white male, approximately 6’4’’tall and weighing approximately 210 pounds, with dark goatee, dark eyes, and wearing a hoodie and dark jeans, asked for a cigarette.

Initially the victim approached the suspect to give him a cigarette, but has he approached the suspect demanded money and threatened the victim with violence. The victim threw his wallet at the suspect; there was a physical altercation and the victim suffered an abrasion to his face.

The victim stated he noticed a second suspect standing just outside of the porch doorway.  The victim described this suspect as being 5’6’’ and about 200 pounds, wearing khaki shorts and a dark jacket with a design on the back.
