INFORMATION SOUGHT IN FATAL TRAFFIC CRASH  Sought

Polk County Sheriff’s Traffic deputies are seeking the public’s help in a traffic fatality that occurred on November 9, 2013.

Around 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2013, two vehicles collided in the center lane of North Scenic Hwy, just north of Tindel Camp Road in Dundee.  The crash resulted in the death of one of the drivers, 19-year-old Shanderia Allen of Haines City.  The driver of the other car, 22-yer-old Alysha Rahmer of Lake Wales, was taken to Winter Haven Hospital where she was treated and released.

Due to the late hour and remote location at the time of the crash, deputies did not locate any witnesses.  Deputies are still seeking witnesses to the crash, or any information about either of the drivers or cars earlier that evening.

Allen was driving a red 2006 Ford Focus, and Rahmer was driving at black 2006 Hyundai Elantra.

If anyone has information on the whereabouts or actions of either of the drivers in this crash, or if anyone witnessed this crash, they are urged to contact Deputy Sheriff Johnnie Wombles at 863-297-1109.
