INFORMATION SOUGHT IN THEFT OF SMOKER  Sought 

Polk County Sheriff's detectives are seeking the public's help in the theft of a custom BBQ smoker from church property.

Sometime between the hours of 12:00 noon on Sunday, January 19th, and 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 26th, unknown suspect(s) removed a custom BBQ smoker trailer from Gospel Assembly Church property, located at 8330 North Socrum Loop Road in Lakeland.

The smoker is black, 8' long, with two cooking compartments.  Each door on the smoker has red axes as handles.  A photo of the smoker can be seen here.

If anyone has information about this incident they are urged to contact Detective Clark at 863-577-1600.
