Polk County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help in an ongoing Missing Person investigation. 

At approximately 3:30 pm, on March 15, 2010, Thomas Morgan, who suffered from dementia, walked away from his home at 1639 Meadow Drive, Lakeland.  Deputies conducted an extensive search of the area in the hours and days after Mr. Morgan was reported missing.  He has not been seen since. 

Morgan, who would be 89 years old today, is described as a white male, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with white hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a pair of jeans, and a long sleeved dark plaid shirt. 

This case has remained opened.  Anyone with information about this investigation is urged to contact Detective Laura Rhodes at 863.298.6950 or 863.298.6200.
