SUSPECT SOUGHT IN RETAIL THEFT  Sought 
 

Polk County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help in a retail theft investigation. 

At approximately 10:00 a.m., on Sunday, January 13, 2013, a retail theft occurred at the Circle K located at 2425 W. Memorial Blvd. in Lakeland. 

The suspect is a black female approximately 30-40 years of age with red hair wearing a blue dress, brown sandals, and carrying a yellow purse.  The suspect entered the store and began loading food items into her purse.  The suspect then walked to the register and paid for her gas.  The suspect walked out of the store and back to her vehicle which was parked at the gas pumps.   

The vehicle appears to be a maroon unknown type SUV leaving in an unknown direction.
