INFORMATION SOUGHT IN CHECK FRAUD  Sought 
 

Polk County Sheriff's detectives are seeking information regarding a check fraud in North Lakeland.

On Tuesday, November 5th, 2013, at approximately 9:55 p.m., a white male suspect attempted to use a fictitious check and driver’s license at the Publix liquor store located at 6767 Hwy 98N in Lakeland. The suspect is described as a white male, approx. 40-50 years of age, wearing a bright orange polo-style shirt and a khaki colored hat. The suspect also wore reading glasses clipped onto the collar of his shirt.
