INFORMATION SOUGHT CHECK FORGERY  Sought 
Polk County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help in a Check forgery investigation.

Between Sunday, January 5, 2014, and Monday, January 6, 2014, three different individuals visited the Wahneta Supermarket located at 3301 Rifle Range Road, Winter Haven, and passed a business check to the clerk.  In all three incidents, the checks had been forged.  Detectives are attempting to identify the individuals who passed the checks.  The individuals are described as:

1) A white male wearing a faded green or khaki cap, and gray button up shirt.

2) A white male, wearing a red t-shirt with a logo printed on across the chest, dark pants and a dark ball cap.

3) A white female with short brown hair wearing a long-sleeve black shirt with a logo printed across the chest.
