INFORMATION SOUGHT IN VEHICLE BURGLARIES  Captured 
 

UPDATE: 31-year-old Allison Lake, Timberline Road, Winter Haven, was arrested and booked into the Polk County Jail on Friday, March 9, 2013, in connection to this crime.

 

Polk County Sheriff's detectives are seeking information in Vehicle Burglaries investigations in two different Polk City communities.

 

Between Thursday February 28, 2013, and Friday March 1, 2013, unknown suspects entered two unlocked vehicles in the Lelynn RV Park located at 1513 HWY 559. A wallet was removed from one vehicle and loose change and gift cards were removed from the other.  Again, between Thursday February 28, 2013, and Friday March 1, 2013, unknown suspects entered six unlocked vehicles in the Motorcoach subdivision located off of S.R.33.  One vehicle had four small pocket knives removed and several others had change taken while more expensive electronics were left behind.

 

On March 2, 2013 the suspects a couple, male and female, used one of the stolen gift cards at a Wal-Mart in Auburndale. The couple was seen driving a dark colored vehicle.  The suspects are described as:

 

1) White female wearing a tan or light brown shirt and black slacks.  She appeared to have light brown or strawberry blonde shoulder-length hair pulled away from her face.

2) White male wearing a dark jacket and gray or light tan colored pants with a gray t-shirt.  He appears to have short cut or shaved dark hair.

The suspect vehicle appears to be brown or dark maroon in color with four-door sedan.
