INFORMATION SOUGHT IN ATTEMPTED HOMICIDE  Sought 

Polk County Sheriff's detectives are seeking information in an Attempted Homicide investigation.

 

At approximately 3:10 am, on Saturday, March 10, 2013, a male victim was standing in the driveway of a Plateau Avenue, Lakeland residence.

A vehicle drove past the residence and a passenger in the vehicle fired several rounds from a handgun striking the victim.  The suspect is believed to go by the name Miguel Martinez; however his name is unconfirmed at this time.

 

The suspect (pictured at left) is described as being 23-24 years of age, 5’-10” tall; weighing approximately 150-165 pounds, with short dark “Mohawk” style haircut. The suspect may have a laceration to his head.  He is considered to be armed and dangerous.
