Polk County Sheriff’s Office Robbery detectives are asking for the public’s help in an Armed Robber investigation.
At approximately 10:00 pm, on Thursday, March 13, 2014, PCSO deputies responded to the Dollar General store, located at 410 W. Canal Street in Mulberry, in reference to an armed robbery. Two employees were inside the store just before closing when two black male subjects entered brandishing small caliber silver handguns and demanded money. They left the store through the front entrance with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspects were described as:
Suspect 1: Thin black male in his late 20s to early 30s, between 5’10” and 6’0” tall, wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, a dark colored mask (possibly a ski mask with only eye holes), dark colored pants, and armed with a small silver handgun (unknown type).
Suspect 2: Thin black male in his late 20s to early 30s, between 5’10” and 6’0” tall, wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, a white mask covering his face (except the eyes), gray sweatpants, black shoes, and armed with a small silver revolver.
