INFORMATION SOUGHT IN A PETIT THEFT  Sought 

Polk County Sheriff's Office detectives are seeking the public's help in a petit theft.  On March 8, 2018, around 11:42 a.m. detectives responded to a theft at the Circle K. Gas station located at 6340 County Line Road in Mulberry. The victim told detectives he went inside the gas station, paid for a few items, and then went to his truck to eat. He noticed his wallet was missing and went inside the Circle K. The store manager showed the victim the video surveiallance in which it showed a suspect leave his wallet on the counter near the register. Around 11:08 a.m., an unknown suspect pays for his items and takes the victim's wallet.
