Polk County Sheriff’s Office Robbery detectives are asking for the public’s help in an Armed Robbery investigation. 

At approximately 4:30 am, on Saturday, March 29, 2014, Polk County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the BP gas station located at 2600 Havendale Boulevard, Winter Haven, in reference to an Armed Robbery.   

A white male suspect approached the clerk, who was outside of the store, and demanded money.  The suspect struck the clerk on the head with a silver handgun.  The suspect also fired his handgun at customers who were arriving at the store.  The suspect was last seen running west on Avenue V, NW. 

The suspect was described as a being approximately 5’7” to 6’2” tall, with a thin build, wearing a black ski mask, blue pants, a dark colored jacket, and armed with a silver in color revolver.
