INFORMATION SOUGHT GRAND THEFT  Sought 

Polk County Sheriff’s Office Agriculture detectives are asking for the public’s help in an on-going Grand Theft investigation.

On March 28, 2013 a citrus grove owner in the area of Hughes Road and Scenic Highway Lake Hamilton, discovered 84 reset (replacement) trees missing from the grove.  The trees are valued at $1,320. 

Over the past 15 months a total of 320 reset trees, valued at $4,800, have been taken from groves throughout the Davenport and Lake Hamilton areas of Polk County.
