Polk County Sheriff's detectives are seeking information about a personal robbery that occurred in Davenport on April 4, 2013.

Around 6:28 a.m. that morning, in the area of Roseling Crossing and Elderberry Drive, the victim was approached by an unknown black male suspect who demanded the victim's purse.  When the victim refused, and tried to step away, the suspect forcibly took the victim's purse and fled on foot heading eastbound.  Some of the victim's personal items were later recovered in the area of Cassia Drive.

The suspect is described as a black male, around 5'9" to 5'11" tall, approximately 175 lbs, with a thin build, wearing black pants, black shoes, black gloves, a black ski mask, and a grey hooded sweatshirt.
