OPERATION HOODOO VOODOO SUSPECTS WANTED  Sought 
 

As a result of an investigation begun in October, 2013, on Tuesday, March 18, 2014, Polk County Sheriff’s Office High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) Task Force detectives, along with members of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration Orlando District Office, Florida Attorney General's Office of Statewide Prosecution, and Lake County Sheriff’s Office detectives, identified 25 suspects involved in an organized drug trafficking enterprise. 

Among the suspects who have warrants and are still at-large are Damaso Lugo and Melinda Baker. Detectives need the public's help in locating these two suspects.  

They are to be considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS. 

The pair may be in the Wabash area of Polk County. Lugo has two aliases, "Jonathan Castillo" and "Marshall." He is 5'5", 135-150 lbs. His girlfriend, Baker, AKA "Flaca" is 5'11", 175 lbs. Previous mugshots of them are attached. 

Damaso Candido Lugo, AKA "Jonathan Castillo" or "Marshall," DOB 08/30/1983, of 908 Ruth Avenue in Lakeland; Lugo is wanted for Conspiracy to Traffic in Methamphetamine over 28 grams, Trafficking in Methamphetamine over 28 grams, and Unlawful Use of Two-Way Communication Device. 

Melinda Baker,  AKA "Flaca" DOB 09/03/1979, of 908 Ruth Avenue in Lakeland; Baker-Ruiz is wanted for Conspiracy to Traffic in Methamphetamine over 28 grams, Trafficking in Methamphetamine over 28 grams, and Unlawful Use of Two-Way Communication Device.
