PCSO Robbery detectives are seeking the public's help in locating a person of interest in a carjacking, who has an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

On Tuesday, April 18, 2017, the victim, a cab driver, picked up the suspect in Astatula and drove him to Lakewood Road in Haines City. Once there, the suspect brandished a handgun and robbed the victim, then fled the scene. The victim described the suspect as Hispanic in his 20s or 30s, 5'10" tall, 170-180 lbs, with tattoos on his arms, wearing a white short-sleeved Tshirt and blue jeans, and a black ball cap.

PCSO detectives are looking for Luis Cintron Rosario, DOB 2/24/85, in regards to this investigation. Rosario has an active Polk County warrant for his arrest, for violation of probation (original charge: battery on law enforcement officer). A recent mugshot of Rosario can be seen here. He may be driving a 2003 silver Honda Odyssey minivan with black custom rims and FL tag 5189TI. He is from Davenport.

If anyone sees Rosario or knows where he can be found, please contact Detective Escheu at 863-298-6379.
