Polk County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help in a retail theft investigation.

At approximately 8:31 p.m., on Saturday, April 26, 2014, a retail theft occurred at the Publix located at 6767 U.S. Highway 98N, Lakeland.

The first suspect is a white female approximately 18-23 years of age wearing a black shirt and ripped jeans.  The second suspect is a white male approximately 20-25 years of age wearing a striped collared shirt and jeans.   The two suspects entered the store where they began filling a shopping cart full of meat and paper products.  The male suspect exited the store pushing the shopping cart with all of the merchandise.  The female suspect was waiting in a Blue Jeep Liberty for the male suspect.
