Polk County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help in a retail theft investigation.


At approximately 11:05 p.m. on Sunday May 7, 2017, a retail theft occurred at the Sunoco gas station located at 2100 Memorial Blvd in Lakeland. 


An unknown Hispanic male entered the business, and removed a case of Bud Light beer without paying. The suspect is described as wearing a camo jacket and a ball cap, with a tattoo on the left side of his face. The suspect fled southbound on Wabash Ave in an older white 2-door vehicle. The vehicle has a black passenger’s side door. The suspect is believed to have committed other beer thefts in the area as well.
