Polk County Sheriff's Robbery detectives are seeking information about an armed carjacking and aggravated battery that occurred in the parking lot of the Domino's Pizza located at 1709 Shepherd Road in Lakeland.

Around 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2013, just after the victim drove into the parking lot, an unknown black male suspect in a black sedan style car approached him and asked the victim to call a tow truck.  Then the suspect punched the victim in the face.  Another unknown black male suspect then suddenly appeared and struck the victim in the head with a handgun.  Both suspects repeatedly kicked the victim, and took his car keys out of his pocket.  One of the suspects fled in the victim's vehicle - a silver Mitsubishi Endeavor.   The other drove away in the suspect vehicle (dark sedan) and the victim also observed a gold SUV.

The suspects are described as: a black male, 6' tall, 200 lbs., wearing a black shirt and jean shorts; a black male, unknown height or weight, armed with a black handgun.
