Polk County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help in Fraud and Grand Theft investigation.

Sometime prior to April 2, 2013, a black female, described as having a thin build, and being approximately 45-55 years of age, obtained a food stamp card in the victim’s name by fraudulent means. The suspect used the card approximately eight times occurring on April 2, April 28, and April 30, 2013.

The stores where the Fraudulent purchases were made were Winn Dixie and Family Dollar store off Ariana Street, Lakeland; The Family Dollar in Kathleen, and Dollar Tree off Highway 98 in N. in Lakeland.

This suspect is wanted for unlawful use of a Credit Card, Grand Theft, EBT Fraud, Criminal Use of Personal ID and Scheme to Defraud.
