INFORMATION SOUGHT IN A FRAUD INVESTIGATION  Sought 
Polk County Sheriff’s detectives are seeking the public’s help in a fraud investigation.

 

On May 23, 2017, a victim’s purse was stolen from a residence in south Lakeland.  Shortly after the theft, the suspect pictured above was observed at stores in Lakeland using the victim’s credit cards.  The victim does not know the suspect and did not have permission to use her credit cards.

 

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’9” tall wearing a black shirt and shorts.  He had gray hair and wears glasses.  He appears to be in his 40s or 50s.  The suspect is driving an unknown type of minivan.
