Polk County Sheriff’s Office Robbery detectives are asking for the public’s help in two Circle K robberies in North Lakeland.
Around 4:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 8th, an unknown white male suspect entered the Circle K convenience store located at 3100 N. Galloway Rd. in Lakeland. The suspect produced a handgun and ordered the clerk to give him the money from the register. The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
Approximately one hour later, around 5:00 a.m., the same suspect entered the Circle K convenience store located at 7250 Hwy. 98 N. in Lakeland. The suspect produced a handgun while demanding the money from the register, as well as cigarettes. The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money and several cartons of Marlboro cigarettes. He was last seen heading west on Duff Rd. away from the crime scene on foot.
The suspect is described as a white male approximately 45-55 years of age, approximately 5’5” tall and heavy set (approximately 180-210 lbs.), with gray hair, wearing a light colored buttoned up plaid shirt, blue jeans, white sneakers, and a camouflage baseball cap.
