INFORMATION SOUGHT IN THEFT OF PURSE  Sought 

Polk County Sheriff's deputies are asking for the public’s help in a theft investigation.   On June 4, 2013, at approximately 7:30 p.m., an unknown suspect stole a purse from a shopping cart at the Family Dollar Store at 600 Dundee Road in Dundee.   

After shopping, the victim loaded her items into her car, leaving her purse in the cart (in the parking lot).  The brown purse contained credit cards, identification, and keys belonging to the victim.    

About 20 minutes later, the victim’s stolen credit card was used to buy fuel at the Sunoco Superway #6, located at 201 Dundee Road, in Dundee.  Anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Michael Britt at 863-438-9540, or 863-298-6200.
