INFORMATION SOUGHT IN GRAND THEFT INVESTIGATION  Sought 

Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a Grand Theft investigation.

At approximately 2:35 pm, on Monday, June 15, 2009, a male subject, described as having a muscular build, clean shaven and wearing a straw Cowboy hat, a white and black striped shirt, and plaid shorts, entered the Kangaroo Store located at 3044 State Road 60 East, Lake Wales.

The subject approached, and reached over the counter, taking the clerk’s prescription medications. 

Prior to entering the store, the subject had been seen exiting the passenger side of a blue or green four door vehicle.  The vehicle type and make are unknown.  The vehicles windows were tinted.
