INFORMATION SOUGHT OCCUPIED BURGLARY  Sought 

Polk County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help in an Occupied Burglary investigation.

At approximately 9:40 am on Friday, June 8, 2012, an occupied burglary occurred in the area of Giant Oak Drive and Alderman Road Lakeland, Florida.

The suspect, in the composite, is a black male with a dark complexion, in his 20’s with short hair.  He was wearing a white shirt and black denim shorts.

The suspect knocked on the door and rang doorbell while at the residence. The victim then heard a noise and began to respond to the front door. The victim then confronted the suspect who was walking through the residence talking on a cellular telephone. The suspect then ran from the residence and fled the area in an older model silver vehicle.
