INFORMATION SOUGHT IN BURGLARIES  Sought 

Polk County Sheriff’s deputies are seeking the public’s help in solving a Residential and Vehicle Burglary Tread occurring in the Grenelefe area Haines City.

Since November 2008, a total of 15 Residential Burglaries have occurred.  Residences and vehicles on Jennings, Watkins, and Kokomo Roads have been targeted by an unknown suspect or suspects. 

The burglaries have occurred both during the day and during the evening hours.  High end electronics have been taken in most cases.  In a number of the cases residences have been ransacked.

The most recent case occurred Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at a residence on Watkins Road.  A flat screen television, an XBOX, a Playstation 2, a video camera, and a 2006 Honda 400EX four-wheeler were taken.

Residents are encouraged to lock vehicles and store valuables out of site.  Please report all suspicious activity immediately to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office at 863.534.6200.
