INFORMATION SOUGHT IN SMASH-AND-GRAB BURGLARY  Sought 

Polk County Sheriff's detectives are seeking information about a smash-and-grab burglary that occurred at a Marathon gas station in Winter Haven.

During the early morning hours of Monday, June 18, 2012, an unknown suspect smashed the front glass doors of the Quick Stop Marathon gas station located at 3562 Cypress Gardens Road in Winter Haven and took $2,800 worth of Florida Lotto scratch-off tickets. 

The suspect seen here in a video surveillance photo cashed in some of the tickets at a nearby gas station at 6:45 a.m. that same morning. He also went to several other locations in the Lake Wales area, cashing in the stolen tickets.
