PCSO deputies are seeking the public's help in a battery investigation in Eagle Lake.

Around 1:20 p.m. on May 13, 2017, the suspect seen here went into the Race Trac convenience store, located at 11023 US Hwy 17 in Eagle Lake, and shoved the clerk out of the way who was cleaning the restroom. The clerk asked the suspect to wait one minute so she could finish cleaning it, but he shoved her, used the restroom, and then approached her where she stood behind the counter and verbally and aggressively berated her.

The suspect left the scene in a white 2003 Ford van with FL tag EWP A88. There was an elderly woman in the van as well. The owner of the van is not the suspect.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male in his 60s, wearing an orange/red pullover and dark pants. He has gray hair and is bald on top.

If anyone has information about this incident or can identify this suspect, they are urged to contact Detective Haygood at 863-370-1331.
