Polk County Sheriff’s deputies are seeking the publics help in a retail theft investigation.


At approximately 8:44 p.m., on Monday, July 3, 2017, an unknown black male and a black female entered the Dollar General store at 8201 US Hwy 98 North in Lakeland, and removed several pieces of merchandise without paying.


The black male is described as being 45 to 55 years of age, approximately 5’8” wearing a blue Nike ball cap, blue jean shorts, and a blue and white plaid shirt. The black female is described as being 30 to 40 years of age, approximately 6’0”, wearing a light blue polo shirt, black shorts, and a brown purse. Both suspects fled in a light colored Buick in an unknown direction on US Hwy 98 North.
