Polk County Sheriff's Robbery detectives are seeking information about a business robbery that occurred on July 17, 2013, at the McEnany Roofers business in Lake Alfred.
Just before 5:00 p.m. that day, two unknown white males entered the business, located at 5650 CR 557. The business owner asked them to leave, and then turned to go back into his office. When he turned his back, the men struck him with an unknown object, knocking him to the ground. The suspects then repeatedly hit him while removing all of his personal belongings, including his wallet and a money clip. Before fleeing, the suspects also removed the cash box from the store.
The suspects, who fled in a white four-door car with tinted windows, possibly an Acura or Honda, heading south on CR 557, are described as:
A white male in his early to mid 20s, 5'8" to 5'10" tall, thin build, tan complexion, with straight medium-length brown hair, a scruffy beard and mustache, a tattoo on the right side of his neck, with a southern accent. He was wearing a plain white short-sleeved T-shirt, camouflage shorts, and red-and-white high-top sneakers that were untied.
A white male, unknown age, 5'10" to 6' tall, thin build, with shoulder-length straight dark hair, unshaven, tattoos on both arms, a tattoo on one hand, wearing a short-sleeved blue T-shirt with white curved writing on it (possibly a logo), and dark-colored sneakers.
The suspect vehicle was possibly driven by a white female with long bushy hair.
