Polk County Sheriff’s Office Robbery detectives are asking for the public’s help in an Armed Business Robbery investigation.

At approximately 11:42 am, on Friday, July 27, 2012, a dark skinned male approximately 6 feet tall and weighing approximately 160-175 pounds, entered the AT&T store located at 6595 S. Florida Avenue, Lakeland.

The suspect brandished a long barrel firearm and ordered the employees to go to the back of the store and into a bathroom.  The suspect then rummaged through the building removing merchandise and an undisclosed amount of cash.  The suspect exited the store and fled in  dark red or maroon Chevrolet Impala with dark tinted windows.

The suspect wore gray pants and a gray hoodie which covered a dark colored cap.  The cap had a gray or blue symbol on the front.  He appeared to be in his mid-20s.
