Polk County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help in a Business Burglary investigation.
At approximately 1:40 am on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, the PCSO received a call regarding alarm activation at the “Party Liquor” store located in the Publix shopping center at the intersection of US Highway 27 N and Sand Mine Road in Davenport. The glass in the store’s front door was shattered and once inside the suspects removed numerous bottles of liquor from the shelves as well as from behind the cash register.
Video surveillance captured images of a silver minivan parked in front of the store and three subjects standing in front of the store. The suspect vehicle is described as a 2001-2004 Dodge Grand Caravan which is missing the right rear hubcap. The vehicle has sliding doors on both the driver and passenger side and a dark colored step-type covering on the top of the rear bumper.
Suspect 1:
B/M wearing a dark colored t-shirt, dark pants, lighter colored dew rag and face covering and low cut tennis shoes with a white bottom and white design on sides. No gloves.
Suspect 2:
B/M wearing a dark colored t-shirt, dark shorts, dew rag and face covering, and black boots. No gloves.
Suspect 3:
Possibly a b/m, wearing a dark colored long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, dew rag and face covering, dark colored tennis shoes with a dark sole and dark gloves.
