INFORMATION SOUGHT IN VEHICLE BURGLARY   Sought

PCSO deputies are seeking the public's help to identify a suspect who stole $850 worth of merchandise from a car parked at the Applebee's restaurant located at 200 Ambersweet Way in Davenport.

Around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, the victims were inside eating. A white female suspect, seen here in video surveillance, went outside to smoke a cigarette. She had a small boy, between 7 and 10 years of age, with her. While outside, she opened the victim's unlocked car, a 2017 Chrysler 300, which was a rental car - the victims were visiting from out of town. She removed $850 worth of recently purchased merchandise, including clothing, jewelry, and souvenirs, and placed them in her own car, a black Dodge SUV or van, which was parked next to the victim's car.

The woman appears to have blonde hair. After stealing the items, she and the little boy went back inside, got a to-go box of their food, and left.

If anyone has information about this theft or recognizes this victim, they are urged to contact Detective Staton at 863-236-3928.
