INFORMATION SOUGHT IN BUSINESS ROBBERY

Polk County Sheriff's detectives are seeking information about a business robbery that occurred in Winter Haven.

At 1:20 a.m. on Monday, August 06, 2012, the suspect entered the BP store located at 2600 Havendale Blvd in Winter Haven and asked to purchase cigarettes. When the victim started to complete the sale, the suspect brandished a firearm and ordered the victim to give him money from the register.

The suspect then fled the area on foot.
