INFORMATION SOUGHT IN HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION

$10,000 CRIMESTOPPERS REWARD

Polk County Sheriff's Office Homicide detectives are currently conducting a Homicide investigation. There is a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in this case.

Shortly after 3:30 am, Sunday, August 4, 2013, the PCSO responded to 5th St NE, Winter Haven, after receiving information about a possible shooting.

Upon their arrival, deputies found 25-year-old Carl Antonio Booker of Winter Haven lying on the ground. Booker had been shot in an apparent drive-by shooting. 

Booker was transported to the Winter Haven Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
