INFORMATION SOUGHT IN SHOOTING INVESTIGATION  Sought 
Polk County Sheriff’s Office Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in an Attempted Murder investigation. 

Sometime before 9:40 am, on Monday, August 12, 2013, 21-year-old Tommy Tyler DOB 10/08/91 of Lake Hamilton, and 21-year-old Alvin D. Clayton, Jr., DOB 01/24/1992, 1105 Rose Street, Lake Hamilton, had a verbal altercation which led to Tyler being shot. 

The shooting occurred in the area of Rose and Pearl Street, Lake Hamilton.  Tyler was shot multiple times.  A passerby located Tyler and transported him to an EMS station located on Ledwith Avenue in Haines City. 

Ultimately, Tyler was transported to an area hospital where he is currently listed in critical but stable condition. 

Detectives have an Attempted Murder warrant for Clayton who is believed to have fled the area.
