INFORMATION SOUGHT IN AUTO THEFT  Sought 

Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies are asking for the public’s help in a Vehicle Theft investigation.

At approximately 4:41 am, on Wednesday, August 14, 2013, a male suspect was seen entering an unlocked pickup truck which had been left running at the Circle K convenience store located at 7695 Highway 60, Bartow. 

The suspect is described as being in his 20s, less than six feet tall and wore a black shirt, black shorts and a black ball cap.  He had dark hair and a goatee.

The truck stolen was a green 1998 Ford Ranger with Florida license tag of 467 NCD.

The suspect fled away from the store toward Alturas Road and appeared to travel toward Highway 60.
